Can I leave the country while I am applying for a permanent residence application?

• We advise ‘no’ until you are given an appointment to return to provide all documents then you can leave for a short period.

Do I need a Criminal Record Check to apply for residence?

• Yes it is required for your home country and the country for residence

Can I marry someone from Trinidad and Tobago and gain residency?

• Yes you can be permitted to marry someone of Trinidad and Tobago citizenship and must report to the National Security office to gain the document requirement to proceed with the application.
